About Vegáno

The cozy ambiance at Vegáno lends itself to an unexpectedly soothing dining experience within the modest space. Soft lighting and simple decor complement the plant-based focus, creating an inviting environment for those intrigued by vegan cuisine. Occasionally, the bustling energy from the open kitchen offers a glimpse into the care invested behind the scenes. Patrons exploring the Vegáno menu will find a thoughtful balance between traditional flavors and creative ingredient choices, though some might find the portion sizes moderate. Insights from various Vegáno reviews suggest that while the dishes are consistently fresh, customer preferences differ on the spice levels and seasoning nuances.

Among the dishes that stand out is a vibrant beetroot risotto, noted for its creamy texture and earthy undertones without relying on dairy. The presentation reflects an attention to detail that pairs well with the lively yet understated atmosphere. Browsing through Vegáno photos shared by previous diners reveals a colorful array of plates that celebrate vegetables in unexpected combinations. Service interaction tends to be pleasant if occasionally brisk, hinting that the establishment balances efficiency with friendliness. Value-wise, prices align reasonably with the quality offered, though those unfamiliar with vegan fare might find some ingredients surprise their palate or budget.

Experimentation seems central to this restaurant, where meal options reflect a commitment to sustainability and health-conscious choices. Reviews written about Vegáno restaurant emphasize an evolving menu that responds to seasonal availability, ensuring freshness but sometimes limiting repeat visits for those seeking consistency. The location, tucked within a quieter part of Liptovský Hrádok, encourages a slower pace—ideal for diners willing to explore beyond mainstream eatery options. Overall, the experience here blends culinary curiosity with a down-to-earth vibe, though it may not fully satisfy those searching for familiar or hearty vegan staples.

Excellent vegan dishes. The menu is not the biggest but the fact that they focused ona few meals resulted in great taste and presentation of the dishes. The lady who served us was super sweet and the other lady behind the curtains preparing the dishes apparently is doing a great job because we have cleaned our plates fully. Reasonable prices, great service. Definitely recommended even if you are not a vegan. I’d strongly suggest to try their kremeš, fantastic!

We really enjoyed everything in this restaurant. The food was made on site, so it took a bit longer, but was worth it! Sweet dumplings were so yummy, also gyozas and bao bun. Huge portions, tasty tea and what really amazed us was such a big play room for children with different toys, climbing tools etc. Our daughter enjoyed it so much, it is obvious that children are more than welcome here. Hope we can visit it again in future!

Absolutely amazing place where you can feed not only your body. Selection of foods, preparation (even vegetable in the soup was cut creatively), taste and serving all super top. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Highly recommend for all who like to eat quality foods.

What a surprise, there is nothing Vegan in this location so if I'm honest when we heard that a new Vegan place had opened we wasn't expecting much because of the lack of competition.. But.. wow how pleasantly surprised were we. If you're travelling here to the nearby low Tatras and you want to eat proper homemade food with freshly prepared, comforting drinks, then you should come here because this is a chef that understands flavours. I ordered corn soup for a starter, Red Thai curry for main and my partner the Linguini and all were incredible, proper homemade food that gives you that lovely nutrition and satisfying feeling after eating. Also worth noting the Linguini has a 'cheese sauce' without soy that was yummy. On top of that I’ve never had soup like that before and I've tried many varieties in Slovakia (lived here for one year). The staff also kept checking if we were full and encouraged us to get a traditional steamed bun for desert, which was filled with scrumptious warm jam and drizzled in vanilla cream. Yum yum. We were told the chef is vegetarian which explains why the plant based food is so amazing and also clever, this is someone who clearly knows what they're doing. I take my hat off to them, if i had a restaurant i would want one just like this. Very impressed, nice clean modern restaurant with lovely and helpful staff as well. 11/10 Hope they can keep it going, this place deserves a lot of success.

Don't let the odd location/entrance stop you from coming inside. It almost looks like you entered a new world. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, wooden base, lots of plants. And the food, OMG, so good, I was fighting with my girlfriend to get the last bite of everything. 100% recommended!!

We were visiting Liptovsky Mikulas from America. We went to VegAno for an early dinner on Thursday. If you are even veggie curious, you need to make a point to stop if you are anywhere in the Tatras you need to come here for a meal.

I was pleased to hear that a vegan restaurant had opened in Liptovský Hrádok, so I was excited to visit. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the daily menu which was very reasonably priced, and the portions were generous (the dukátové buchtičky was incredible!). The restaurant is spacious and well designed, with a natural style. I'll be eating there as often as I can!

Great vegan spot found in an unexpected place. The food was amazing, the daily menu is very reasonably priced. There's also an a la carte menu. The restaurant is quite big on the inside so there's bound to be a place for you. Would wholeheartedly recommend.
